Flexo printing

 

S10 is a stack type gearless flexographic printing machine with automatic register control. It is a flawless combination of advanced technological, mechatronical, electronic and software solutions. Complete electronic control, motors, drives and register control are realised with high-end integrated SIEMENS platform. Numerous engineering innovations have been implemented for the first time on this model in cooperation with Siemens Application Center for printing technology from Erlangen, Germany. All printing, anilox and impression cylinders are driven by separate servo motors.

On-site visits can be arranged with S10 at full exploatation available for full inspection, where you can hear first-hand user experience from the operators working on this machine.

Die cutting

SharpDive is a sophisticated high-end machine for high-speed die-cutting production from printed aluminium rolls. Its most prominent features are efficiency and functional reliability, meaning that user can count on uninterrupted production over three eight-hour shifts, seven days a week. SharpDive daily production capacity is over 1.5 million units produced if 4-pillar tool is used, or about 2.7 million units with 7-pillar tool. The machine has built-in soft tension control which guarantee perfect engraving at full production speed.

L10 is a sophisticated high-end machine for high speed production of IML labels from printed rolls. Beside basic version with simple stack at the end of conveyor, Vallis offers a model with delta robots for labels stacking (one, two or three robots, depending on desired production speed). Robotic stacking provides higher degree of automatization and continuous production (each robot has one stack for stacking and another for replacement). Also it is possible to combine different shapes and sizes on the same print format thus optimizing material usage. One robot provides production rate up to 35m/min, and for full machine capacity of 100m/min three robots are required.

Service

When it comes to food products and mass-consumption goods, companies are increasingly demanding higher standards for reliability and stability of supply chains. Deadlocks in the production of packaging materials can have damaging effects on delivery deadlines which, in turn, can erode consumer trust. Long production halts are simply not an option.

  • We believe machine malfunctions are fixed best before they happen, which is why prevention lies at the heart of our service strategy. Vallis philosophy is that all vital machine components should come from renowned European manufacturers. Complete electronic control system is realised with Siemens components, from servomotors, controlers and drives, to the software solution based on Siemens’ platform developed specifically for the printing industry.

    Detailed testing plays an important role in error-prevention. Before delivering each machine, we run through series of tests with different materials, product types and production speeds.

  • Technical problems are inevitable at some point. Our objective is to reduce any potential deadlock by every possible second. All Vallis machines are equipped with routers for service access via internet as a standard option.
  • If the problem cannot be solved by internet service access or over the phone, our service expert will visit the site as soon as possible. Vallis is dedicated to cutting response time, and aims to expand its service network around the world.

Remote internet service

Our objective is to reduce any potential deadlocks by every possible second.  All Vallis machines are equipped with routers for service access via internet as a standard option. Routers guarantee user data security and enable exclusive operator access.

Technical support

Our expert team provides technical support to our partners. We are at your service whether you are experiencing technical problems, or having difficulty choosing optimal materials and technology solutions for your production.

Spare parts

After a certain period of wear-and-tear some specific mechanical components have to be replaced. Vallis pays special effort to documentation about components that have been used on each machine, and always aim to expand spare parts stock.

Why Vallis

Ancient roman road transporting goods and armies from Dubrovnik to central Europe lead through Dinaric mountains to north. Settlement situated on a place where road emerged from river Gradac canyon to wide plains Romans named Vallis which is latin word for valley. Our logo by its shape represents that very valley. Vallis company was founded in a city situated on the same place and nowdays is named Valjevo.

How Vallis happened

Besides the beautiful landscape that surrounds it, the town is known for one more distinguishing trait which has been vital for the development of our company. Valjevo is home to an internationally-recognized, and UNESCO-supported science and research institute Petnica. With its advanced natural sciences program, the institute has been professionally educating talented young people outside their regular school curriculum since its inception in 1982. This makes Petnica a unique educational organisation across central and southeastern Europe.

The town’s Gymnasium founded in 1870, is just as known for its specialized curriculum in mathematics, science and information technology which differs it from other similar educational institutions. The Gymnasium has been able to attract and educate some of the most gifted students across the country and the wider region. Talented and skilled people in the area of natural sciences and information technology are a valuable – but limited – resource, often scattered all over the globe. This way Vallis is uniquely positioned, being able to tap into this resource at its own backyard.

These two institutions are credited for wakening of enthusiasm and passion for science and creating a basis for a countless number of young talents to become distinguished experts, many of whom work for some of today’s leading multinational companies, such as Google, Microsoft and Yahoo. Others have chosen academic paths, and can be found doing ground-breaking research for the world’s leading universities, including Cambridge, Oxford and Princeton, to name a few. It logically follows that the Petnica Institute and the Valjevo Gymnasium have been essential in fostering an environment of innovation necessary for the establishment of a sophisticated engineering company, such as Vallis. For this very reason, the Vallis name is synonymous with the environment that has enabled its foundations, and its growth.
